KOUKABOKU ( 紅花墨 )
Koukaboku is one of the best inks born from the study by Matsui,Motoyasu, the sixth successor of Kobaien in the 18th century.
SHITSUBOKU ( 漆墨 )
Those inks are made from the finest quality rapeseed oil smoke, and are produced by Kobaien craftsmen following the house’s secret process.
GOKUJO YUENBOKU KINMAKI
GOKUJO YUENBOKU KINMAKI( 極上油煙墨・金巻 )
This is the most suitable ink for painting. The main ingredient is rapeseed oil.

SHOUENBOKU ( 松煙墨 )
This ink is also made from pine trees as raw material. It has a bright black color when painting dark blacks and a gentle, faint blue color when painting light blacks that look very mysterious.
SEIBOKU ( 青墨 )
Seiboku is made from Kobaien’s finest oil smoke most suitable for blue ink.
Genuine indigo is used to produce a brilliant blue color.
